First Annual All4One Golf Tournament a Success
The First Annual All4One Golf Tournament for the benefit of The Verle and Eleanor Hammond Foundation was held on July 17, 2006 at River Creek Country Club in Leesburg, VA. With superb weather enveloping the scenic Potomac River venue, nearly eighty folks participated in the first of, what is expected to be, many events for the benefit of the non-profit 501 (c) (3) charitable organization set up to focus on the development of our youth in Loudoun County, VA and St. Augustine, FL. Food and beverages were available throughout the day commencing with a breakfast buffet and ending with an impressive array of delights at the Awards banquet in this gated golf community.

The initial tournament drew several sponsors from businesses throughout the region and a lively auction helped further the proceeds in the golfers' bids for some elegant gifts. In addition to prizes for various golf contests (team scramble, longest drives, closest to the pins, putting, etc) and door prizes, the auction was held for dinners, golf balls, gift certificates, and overnight golf stays at The Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, VA.

Volunteers assisting with the day's festivities included some middle and high school students from the Loudoun County community. Plans are already underway for the next tournament, which by all indications will be even bigger and more successful! Check back here soon for more information on the next All4One Golf Tournament!

The Summer Concert

Dr. Hammond, a retired educator in Washington D.C., is also a native of St. Augustine, born and raised in the Lincolnville Community of the City. Dr. Hammond has distinguished her musical talent beyond the borders of the United States of America to other countries and continents.
